Quality Assurance
Reliable Silicone Compounders has a state of the art lab facility. All testing equipment is computerized and are calibrated on a yearly scheduled basis. All of our Lab Technicians are highly trained in the equipment that is being used and also the process that enables valid test results.
Testing Equipment Includes:
Montech R-100 Rheometer:
That is used to chart cure curves, flow, cure rate, cure time and viscosity of the silicone compounds produced.
Tensometric M350-CT Tensile Tester:
This is for the evaluation of Tensile (ASTM D412), Elongation (ASTM D412) and Tear (ASTM D624)
Densitech 11:
Evaluates the Specific Gravity
Calibrated Tensile and Tear Dies (pre-knicked) for preparation of dumbbells for testing.
All testing is performed in accordance to the ASTM Standards of test methods and is traceable to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).
Production
All of Reliable Silicone Compounders' production personnel have a combined experience of 45 years in a silicone compounding work environment. This experience lends itself to the quality and accuracy of the compounds that are produced. Our production facility is approximately 5,500 sq. ft.
Reliable Silicone produces batch sizes that range anywhere from 5 - 350lbs. We have quick turnaround times anywhere from same day to 5 business days.
